Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By subscribing to or using Blackwell Sterling ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Van Moose BV, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (KvK: 97411698).
2. Service Description
Blackwell Sterling is a financial opportunity intelligence service. We aggregate, classify, score, and deliver media requests, podcast guest opportunities, conference speaker calls, and regulatory consultations relevant to financial professionals.
The Service includes email digests, a web-based intelligence feed, pitch suggestions, and authority scoring. Features vary by subscription tier.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Free trial
New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your access will expire.
Paid plans
- Starter: $199/month or $1,990/year
- Professional: $599/month or $5,990/year
- Institutional: $999/month or $9,990/year
All prices are in USD. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. Annual subscribers receive a prorated refund for unused months upon cancellation.
Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after the billing period begins. Annual subscriptions are prorated upon cancellation. Trial periods are entirely free — no refund is necessary.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your digest emails with non-subscribers or republish our content
- Use automated systems to scrape or extract data from the Service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access restrictions
5. Intellectual Property
All content generated by Blackwell Sterling — including authority scores, pitch suggestions, opportunity classifications, and digest formatting — is the intellectual property of Van Moose BV.
The underlying opportunity data (journalist requests, conference CFPs, etc.) originates from public sources and remains the property of its respective authors and publishers.
6. Disclaimer
Blackwell Sterling provides intelligence and suggestions for informational purposes. We do not guarantee that responding to any opportunity will result in media coverage, speaking invitations, or any other outcome.
Authority scores and pitch suggestions are generated algorithmically and should be evaluated using your professional judgment. We do not provide financial, legal, or compliance advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Van Moose BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
